the pressure’s on!

Caught a post on facebook a coworker/friend wrote:

Ceci ***** is in suspense waiting to read Kelly Bara’s suspense novel. I know that some day I’ll be in a movie theater lobby and ask the person with me, “you read?” And they’ll give me a “duh” look. Then I’ll point to the poster for the movie based on Kelly’s book :)

Love Love Love

But..Now I’ve got to deliver, ya know? Not that I don’t have (what I think) is a pretty good plot at this point. I’m just in it for good now! And even if no publishers want to take me on, I know my girl Ceci will read it! P.S. I once asked her “Do you read?”, while dressed up as Moaning Myrtle, her-Harry Potter, while pointing at the large cutout of “The Help.”

Update: I’ve stayed up pretty late the last couple of nights just kinda organizing my ideas and making them all fit together to create a cohesive, entertaining story. I’m actually surprising myself with the ideas that keep popping up. I’ll have one idea, start writing, get a new idea and change everything. I’ve heard that happens. And it’s true.

Today, I bought a book (true crime) to help me with MY book. At this point, I’m not giving any of the plot away because it’s not developed enough, ya know? You understand right?

I also had a little free time and decided to go write in the library. Since I work about 45 mins from home, it’s not worth driving home when I have 2 hour breaks so, I’ve had to find things to do. Wal-mart, Bealls, Tuesday Morning, and HEB all get pretty boring. Also, I sat down at a table (the only one left near a plug) that had about 40 books on it. I ASSUMED (which we know is a problem) that maybe they were resting there as a break from the librarian putting them away. I mean 40 books. I gently shoved them to the side and went about my writing business.

A lethargic lady came over and said, “Oh. I guess I’ll move these.” I politely told her that I’d move and that I didn’t know she was sitting her. She said, “Don’t worry” and then began her 8 trip move of books to another table. Awkward!

Have I told you that I love you lately?

The end.
