Workout Songs

To me, a workout song is not something that’s got the fastest beat in the world, but yes, it shouldn’t be slow as hell so that your heart rate slows to an almost complete stop. I believe that if you can get into a song, then you can be carried away and not think about your muscles aching or the fact that your lungs might collapse at any moment. So the best thing to do is to think of those classic (not ballads) songs that you LOVE and may not listen to a whole lot that would get you excited to hear. Here’s a compilation of songs that help me run. It has absolutely no genre, and some songs may be inappropriate or not to your liking. Skip those! Feel free to add suggestions in the comment section. In fact, bring it on!!! P.S. Check these songs out on Amazon or iTunes to help you remember them or decide if you like them. You can at least get a quick sample.

Crank the music up, but as an SLP I’m not supposed to say that.
